Modification of Kaplan Turbine with Variation of Guide Angle (Guide Vanes) to Generate Electric Power

Hydroelectric power plant is renewable electrical energy that needed at this time. One of the hydropower plants has been designed Kaplan turbine, which intended for Geladak Kenong river, Pamekasan. The turbine to produce 1000 Watts power. In manufacture several variations have carried out, namely diameter blades, angle blades and height draft tube. However, generated relatively small, 416.89 Watts. modification, turbines will be made with in Guide Vanes angles 15⁰, 25⁰, 35⁰ 45⁰. Its working principle optimizing water improve Turbine performance. method used study vary can affect generated. results test, highest 521.79 Watt, occurred a 25⁰ discharge 0.0152 m3/s rotation 466 rpm. 
 Pembangkit listrik tenaga air (PLTA) merupakan energi terbarukan yang sangat dibutuhkan pada saat ini. Salah satu PLTA telah dirancang yaitu turbin diperuntukkan di sungai Turbin tersebut untuk dapat menghasilkan daya sebesar Watt. Dalam pembuatan dilakukan pengujian dengan beberapa variasi sudu tubin, sudut dan ketinggian Namun dihasilkan relatif kecil 416,89 Pada modifikasi ini akan dibuat Prinsip kerjanya mengoptimalkan meningkatkan kinerja Turbin. Metode digunakan dalam penelitian ialah memvariasi mempengaruhi dihasilkan. Hasil dari Kaplan, tertinggi 521,79 terjadi debit putaran
